Recent years, application of precast concrete hollow core wall panel is becoming a more preferred choice as a wall system by many Developers, Consultants and Builders. Moreover with the tightening of the foreign labor policy by the local Authorities, rising of related construction cost. The construction industry had now focused on mechanization to help to improve safety, productivity and reduction in construction cost.
JOE Green has designed and is introducing JOE Wall Panel Installation Machine (PIM-V5) to enhance the JOE green concrete wall panel performance and competitiveness in term of Work Safety Environment Current industry practice, installation of wall panel is carried out manually by a team of 3 workers depending on the wall height. The workers may suffer injury due to the fatigue, heavy lifting and breakage of panel during the installation operation. Our solution: The PIM-V5 working capacity can handle wall panels up to 350kg per panel or height up to 3.6m. Newer version of PIM is under development. It is designed can handle longer and heavier wall panels of thicker variances. The wall panel is rested on the PIM-V5 steel frame, thus removing risk of wall panel breakage during installation and injury hazard.• Productivity with the battery operated hydraulic, JOE Wall Panel Installation Machine (PIM-V5) would reduce manpower required to only 2 workers. Current installation rate with a team of 3 workers can only achieve around 16m2/Manday. With the PIM-V5 and team of only 2 workers, productivity of installation can increase 3 times or reach up to 50m2 - 80m2/Manday.• Reduction in cost with reduction of 1 worker per team and increment of output, it is also a four prong win-win approach. Of which the Installation cost of the wall panel is greatly reduced, contribute to a lower cost for the Developers, Builders, Installers team and the local Authorities achieving its target in improving safety and reducing the high foreign labor demands.
